Chardonnay – Barrel Select 2016

If buttery Chardonnay is your thing, line up here! This vintage has been fermented and aged in 100% new French oak. It’s from the same vineyard as our stainless Chardonnay, but the caramelization from the oak lends additional depth to the flavors in this wine. Even with the oak, there’s still plenty of fruit coming through, reminiscent of fresh white peaches. It’s a little bold and upfront now, but laying it down for another year will pull it all together for a really nice Chardonnay. I would get at least a couple of bottles so you can taste the difference!
