This Chardonnay is from a slightly cooler region in the Santa Maria River Valley. It’s cooled by the breezes from the ocean, which makes for great hang time in the vineyard. As a result, we have a big, lush Chardonnay, fermented and aged in 80-gallon stainless barrels. Surprisingly soft on the palate without any oak added to it.
